My husband proposed to me on Mirror Lake. We had stayed at your lovely hotel quite a few times over the years and he felt it was the best place to ask for my hand in marraige. He had arranged for me to get a manicure early one morning at the spa. After I was to meat him out in the main lobby to head out for a trip around Mirror Lake in a rowboat. Once out in the middle of the lake, it was the part they said was the deepest, I think 80', he had proposed to me. It was the most memorable time that we shared at Mirror Lake. We had hoped to get married there, but were told your establishment was not conducive to that. I was crushed, but we found a lovely B&B to get married in. The children are getting bigger now and we want to introduce them to the place we had fallen in love with while we were falling in love with each other. We can't wait to come and take that rowboat ride again! Thank you for allowing me to reminisce.
