We have stayed at the Mirror Lake Inn for a total of 3 times now- always during the Canadian spring break which is in March. The very first time we entered the hotel we felt swept away to an elegant, old world setting with a relaxing ambience- just what we both needed to get away from our busy work lives. My husband is from England and he was immediately taken by the lovely settings in the inn and warmth of the rooms especially with the fireplaces. We both love the afternoon tea provided by the inn- this reminded Peter of England since he so often became homesick. The Macy room that we got upgraded to was special - thank you.We have never been disappointed by the staff- they were always ready to accomodate us with their pleasant and courteous manner. The dining is top notch and we are very discerning eaters. We have never been disappointed! We hope to return this March again!
