Last Mothers' Day, when I was eight months pregnant with our second child, we decided to take our last vacation as a family of three in Lake Placid.
The spa was probably the top reason we selected Mirror Lake Inn, but “family friendly” always enters into our choice. We love taking our kid(s) with us on vacation, but we’re not really too keen on locations exclusively for children. Mirror Lake Inn is perfect in this regard: It is an adult haven that smiles at children.
We returned this Mothers' Day with our family of four, and we'll probably be back next year, too.
