My husband Bill and I had a wonderful time at the Mirror Lake Inn in December, 2007. It was our last and our best. Our attention from the staff was commendable. We could not have asked for better treatment. The Inn was beautifully decorated with seven Christmas Trees, Garland, and other Christmas Decorations. We had great dining. Even though we had been to Mirror Lake Inn a couple of times prior that year, it was fun seeing all the lights and excitment. We stayed three nights. We had stayed quite a few times over the years at the Mirror Lake Inn. Lake Placid is where we celebrated our First Anniversary. Today, October 11th, as I write this, would have been our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Bill passed away February 20, 2008. I know we would have made Lake Placid our "Special Anniversary." I have some great memories and will always treasure them.
