I decided to plan a ski trip to Lake Placid for my fiance's birthday. I chose Mirror Lake Inn due to all of its well-deserved recommendations, reviews, and the descriptions of the much-needed spa treatments We had not visited this area of NY. We've always traveled to New York City. One of my first impressions of the Inn was an online picture in the winter with its seasonal lighting on the front of the property. When we arrived, this memorable picture was presented to us once again. The view in person was just as stunning as the pictures online. My fiance and I spent a wonderful extended weekend in Lake Placid. The property grounds were serene, and the hotel staff made us feel welcome during our entire stay. We skied all day at Whiteface Mountain, saw our first ice castle in town, and enjoyed a relaxing massage at the inn.
The weekend was also my fiance's birthday so I scheduled a birthday dinner at The View. The dinner was exquisite and the service was outstanding.
Our first ski trip was fun, memorable, and won't be our last. Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa is one of our new favorite New York vacation destinations!
