We were undecided what to do for our 14th Wedding Anniversary until we received your "In The Neighborhood" email, which made our decision for us. We have always loved coming to Lake Placid and this was a perfect time to go, weather was even perfect for a 6 hour ride on the motorcycle. Hotel staff asked if there was a reason for our visit and my husband said it was our 14th wedding anniversary. Never expectng anything, the chocolates and bottle of sparkling wine were very touching. Hotel staff was phenomenal and more than accommodatng, food was excellent as we loved every minute of our stay. We drank our sparkling wine as mimosas on Saturday morning, sitting on the screened in porch of the bistro while enjoying the lovely and peaceful view of Mirror Lake. We were only planning on visiting for one night but had such a pleasurable day and experience, we decided to turn it into a two night stay. We look forward to coming back and spending another memorable occasion at the Mirror Lake Inn. Thank you for making our 14th Wedding Anniversary such a wonderful time. Dave and Robin
