My wife, two-year-old daughter, and I stayed at Mirror Lake Inn one summer weekend a few years ago. Like most toddlers, our daughter was an early riser and woke us before dawn. We walked down to the dock through the cool morning air and took turns swimming in the still water. At one point, I looked back at my family curled-up in the Adirondack chair on the dock, climbed out, and took these pictures. In the following years, our family has grown and we have collected other great memories from trips to Mirror Lake Inn. However, this sunrise swim in the Adirondacks is something I’ll never forget.
