The last time, regretfully, that we stayed at the Inn was many years ago. We had reservations and arrived the day after the fire destroyed the building. We were put up at some other rooms and were given many special services free of charge due to the fire problem. Understand many antiques were destroyed. The Inn is always, and I mean always on my mind, and I receive your updates with fond memories. I love the Christmas lights which are on the whole month of January I know. Walks in town of Lake Placid were always a thrill, with the shops and restaurants and fine views of the Lake and Mountains. Being on pension income only, I am unable to afford a stay at your loveley Inn, and miss it terribly. I would love to take my wife of 43 years for a short stay at your place but now cannot afford to do so. I think of you often and hope one day to visit you again. Thank you for your strong memories and always good attention and service.
Best regards
