On February 11, 2006, Jennifer and I were married. We choose to honeymoon at the Mirror Lake Inn because of its exceptional SPA and world class reputation for service. We spent our honeymoon in the Lake Cottage in front of a cozy fire watching the snow accumulate while enjoying champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Those first five days were the beginning of the rest of lives together and the start of an annual tradition.
After enjoying a wonderful year of marriage together, this past February we spent our first anniversary at the MLI. It was like we returned home after begin away on vacation. The staff was as outstanding as we remembered – professional, welcoming, and accommodating in every respect. The Inn was delightful and the View provided a charming setting for our anniversary dinner. We enjoyed every aspect of the Mirror Lake Inn, but I must say that the library with its roaring fire and selection of board games is our favorite.
The Mirror Lake Inn is Our Place. We now have a photo album dedicated to Lake Placid. We’ll be back in February, 2008 and don’t plan on missing a year anytime soon.
