My husband and I came to the Mirror Lake Inn for the first time to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary 8 years ago. We had never been to Lake Placid before. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff is top notch and everything about the inn is warm and welcoming. We both loved it and decided we needed to experience it during every season which we have now done. We've enjoyed several ski getaways, we always try to go on Labor Day weekend and we've enjoyed several other mini getaways over the years. Last Labor Day my son and his girlfriend joined us and they love it as much as we do. We've also been there with our other kids and their significant others. Although we didn't stay at the inn in February, we all had spa services and all eight of us enjoyed a wonderful evening at The Cottage. The best part of our story is that my son just made reservations in April so that he can propose to his soon-to-be fiancee! He said that it is a very special place to them now, too, and he wants that to be their "proposal story". (Incidentally, he is not proposing until the last weekend of April and it's a surprise so if by any chance you select my story, this cannot be printed until after April 27!)
I'm sure that we will be making memories at the Mirror Lake Inn for many years to come. We're already talking about our next getaway!!
