It was a bitter cold, but sunny day when we checked into the Inn for our honeymoon. It was one of those glorious days of winter when the sunlight glistens off the ice on the tree branches. Everything was right with the world. It was just the two of us and no one else existed. We enjoyed breakfast in bed and saw deer outside our window. It was a Hallmark moment we will never forget. Sitting by the lake, drinking a glass of wine by the fire, eating a delicious dinner while the staff pampered us -- these memories are etched in my mind forever.
